Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the aiScreeningRoom website at aiscreeningroom.com (the “Site”) and to the aiScreeningRoom application that receives film uploads and produces reports. By using the Site or the application, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) means information that can identify, contact, or locate a person on its own or combined with other information.

aiScreeningRoom is a product of CinemaCloudWorks, Inc., a California corporation. Footage handling is also described in our Terms of Service and Security and Footage page.

When you request beta access or otherwise submit a form on the Site, you may be asked for your name, email address, role, project status, organization, and optional details about your film or project.

We may also receive technical information automatically when you visit the Site, such as browser type, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, and pages viewed.

We collect information when you fill out a form on the Site, contact us, or otherwise interact with Site features that request information from you.

We may use information you provide to:

• Respond to beta access requests and other inquiries
• Send product updates and related communications about aiScreeningRoom or iScreeningRoom
• Improve the Site and understand how it is used
• Protect the Site, prevent abuse, and comply with law

Your footage stays yours. We do not sell or license film files. To produce your report, we send a downscaled copy to Google's paid Gemini API so the model can watch the footage, and OpenAI writes the report from that evaluation. Public film databases (OMDb, TMDB) supply comparable-title facts; they do not receive the film file. Access is limited to people who need it to operate and improve the service, under confidentiality obligations. Customer film files are not viewed in the ordinary course. During private beta, authorized admins may read reports and chat transcripts to diagnose support issues.

After analysis completes successfully, we delete your source upload and the copy sent to the viewing API. If the immediate source delete fails, we retry within the same run and then about once an hour until the file is gone, and leftover source files are removed within seven days at most. Your report shows the removal date once storage confirms it. Failed analyses may retain your upload so you can retry without re-uploading.

Reports and chat transcripts remain so you can return to your results. They do not include a downloadable video file. Timeline stills cited in the report stay with the report in private storage. They are not a downloadable film file.

Personal information is stored on secured systems accessible only to a limited number of people with a need to know. The Site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we take commercially reasonable measures to protect information you provide.

We do not ask for credit card numbers on this Site.

We may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, and understand aggregate traffic and usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some Site features.

We do not sell your Personally Identifiable Information.

We may use trusted service providers (for example, hosting, form processing, spam protection such as reCAPTCHA, and email delivery) who process information on our behalf under instructions that limit their use of it.

Film analysis also uses Google's paid Gemini API (a downscaled copy of your video, so the model can watch it), OpenAI (report text from that evaluation, and optional voice audio which is not stored), and public film databases such as OMDb and TMDB (title metadata, not the film file). Those providers process that material solely to produce your report. They do not take ownership of your film. They do not get a license to sell, distribute, or reuse it as their own work.

The Site may link to third-party websites, including iscreeningroom.com. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Users can visit the Site anonymously. A link to this Privacy Policy is available on the Site. We will post changes to this policy on this page. You may request changes to your personal information by emailing us.

We use Google Tag Manager to load analytics. We do not allow third-party behavioral advertising tracking on this Site.

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If you provide an email address, we may use it to respond to you and to send product-related messages. Commercial emails will identify the sender in a reasonable way, include a physical business address where required, and provide a way to unsubscribe. We honor opt-out requests promptly.

If a data breach occurs that affects your personal information, we will notify you by email within 7 business days of determining that notification is appropriate under applicable law and our investigation.

If we become aware of confirmed unauthorized access to your film or any derivative of it, we will notify you without undue delay, and within any shorter period required by your agreement with us. That notice is separate from the personal-information provision above.
